Description

1. Many times, cough is also associated with symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, nasal congestion and sneezing. A cough not only causes discomfort for the person experiencing it, but also disrupts those around them. 
2. Grilinctus-Dx^® Syrup is specially designed to take care of dry, irritating, and allergic cough, post-operative cough, smoker’s cough, nocturnal cough and post nasal drip. 
3. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide in Grilinctus-Dx^® Syrup is non-opioid antitussive drug, which has a central action on the cough centre in the medulla, raising the threshold for the cough reflex. It targets the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors, particularly in the brainstem, which are crucial for the cough reflex regulation which in turn reduces the intensity as well as the frequency of cough. 
4. Chlorpheniramine Maleate (CPM)– a time-tested potent antihistamine, which relieves the allergic component present in the cough. The incidence of drowsiness is minimal post chlorpheniramine maleate use. Chlorpheniramine maleate does not have significant anti-cholinergic activity. 

Indications

Grilinctus-Dx^® Syrup is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of non-productive cough; particularly dry, irritating and allergic, post-operative, smoker's and nocturnal cough.
