Description

  1. Common cold in children is always associated with many symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, congestion, body-ache, headache, fever, sore throat and sneezing. GRILINCTUS-P® Syrup is designed to give relief to the patients by taking care of all these symptoms without disturbing the patient's alertness.
  2. Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic, which gives relief from body aches, headache and fever.
  3. Chlorpheniramine Maleate (CPM) is a time-tested potent antihistamine, which relieves the allergic component present in cough. The incidence of drowsiness after chlorpheniramine maleate is minimal as compared to other anti-histamines. Chlorpheniramine maleate does not have significant anti-cholinergic (atropine-like) activity.
  4. Phenylephrine in GRILINCTUS-P® Syrup is a decongestant. The vasoconstriction that Phenylephrine produces is believed to be principally an α-adrenergic receptor response. By acting on α-adrenergic receptors in the mucosa of the respiratory tract, Phenylephrine produces vasoconstriction, which shrinks swollen nasal mucous membranes and reduces nasal congestion and edema.

Indications

In the symptomatic management of common cold associated with fever.
