Description

  1. Vitamin D3 Cholecalciferol is an important nutrient necessary not only for maintaining calcium balance and safeguarding skeletal integrity but also essential for overall health and well being.
  2. Vitamin D3, aids in the absorption of calcium. It is used alone or in combination with calcium, to increase bone mineral density and to decrease fractures. Recently, researchers also suggested that Vitamin D3, may provide protection from osteoporosis, hypertension, cancer and several autoimmune diseases. Studies have shown that Vitamin D3, deficiency is more prevalent in diabetics than non-diabetic individuals. Poor dietary intakes of Vitamin D3, rich food, lack of exposure to sunlight, increasing usage of sunscreen are the causes to name a few, for such deficiency.
