Description

  1. The primary form of calcium in bones is calcium phosphate (hydroxyapatite), which requires phosphorus for proper integration into bone. Recent studies indicate that plain calcium supplements may deplete the body’s natural stores of phosphorus.
  2. Tribasic Calcium Phosphate, which contains 38.76% calcium and 19.97% phosphorus, provides both calcium and phosphorus in a balanced 2 : 1 ratio. OMILCAL FORTE® Tablet offers 400 mg of calcium and 206 mg of phosphorus per dose, alongside Vitamin D₃, which enhances absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the intestine and reduces their excretion in the urine.
  3. During pregnancy, intake of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and zinc supports the formation and metabolism of fetal bone and teeth. Additionally, calcium and magnesium contribute to muscle strength, nerve transmission, blood clotting, heartbeat regulation, and enzyme activation.
