Description

  1. STIMULIV® Syrup is a proprietary ayurvedic preparation, containing a judicious combination of four time-tested and clinically proven herbal medicines.
  2. Kalmegh is a cholagogue and an appetite stimulant. It also has anti-pyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. The medicinal value of this plant is due to the presence of active ingredients viz., andrographolide and neo andrographolide which are derivatives of diterpenoids. It prevents oxidative damage and inhibits binding of toxic metabolites to DNA. 
  3. Bhringaraj contains large amount of resin and an alkaloid Ecliptine. Bhringaraj has anti-inflammatory properties and a mild purgative action. Its role as a hepatic and splenic decongestant is well-known. Pittapapda aids digestion and increases appetite. Together these three herbs increase bile secretion, reduces enlargement of the liver and spleen, improves appetite and normalizes the functions of the gastro-intestinal tract. 
  4. Bhuiamla (a plant of the genus phyllanthus) has been widely used by the traditional medical practitioners for the treatment of jaundice and other diseases. The extract of Bhuiamla is reported to inhibit the reaction between HBsAg (the surface antigen of the Hepatitis B virus (HBV) and the antibody to it (Anti- HBS). Studies indicate that the extract of Bhuiamla also inhibits this endogenous DNA polymerase of HBV. Therefore, STIMULIV® Syrup is an ideal remedy for hepatic disorders of varied etiology. Moreover, STIMULIV® Syrup is extremely palatable.
