Description

  • Pain and inflammation have been classically treated by Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). The choice of an NSAID requires a balance of efficacy, cost-effectiveness, safety and numerous other factors. Aceclofenac has an anti-inflammatory profile mediated primarily through inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) activity and suppression of PGE2 synthesis.
  • Acetaminophen is an NSAID with both antipyretic and analgesic action and has been in use for a long time. Both these drugs complement each other resulting in effective analgesia with an antipyretic action.

Indications

  • RELAXYL PLUS® Tablet is indicated in the management of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, post-traumatic pain, cervical pain, low back pain and for the symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation with fever.
